People often use abbreviations on chat and WhatsApp. Although, they are not proper English words, people often use them as it makes typing faster. Here are the full forms of these common abbreviations
1. LOL: Laugh Out Loud = ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ പൊട്ടിച്ചിരിക്കു.
2. BRB: Be right back = ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ തിരിച്ചു വരാം.
3. TTYL: Talk to you later = പിന്നീട് നിങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിക്കാം.
4. BTW: by the way = എന്തായാലും; Example: By the way, you were looking good today! (എന്തായാലും, ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ കാണാൻ നന്നായിരുന്നു / സുന്ദരിയായിരുന്നു. )
5. BFF: Best friend(s) forever = എക്കാലത്തെയും ഏറ്റവും നല്ല കൂട്ടുകാരാൻ / കൂട്ടുകാരി; Example: She is my BFF. (അവൾ എൻറെ എക്കാലത്തെയും ഏറ്റവും നല്ല കൂട്ടുകാരി ആണ്. )
6. DM: Direct Message = നേരിട്ട് മെസ്സേജ് അയക്കുക; Example: If you have something important, just DM me. Don't message anything publically. ( നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്തെങ്കിലും പ്രധാനപെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, എനിക്ക് നേരിട്ട് മെസ്സേജ് അയക്കുക. എല്ലാവർക്കും മുൻപിൽ മെസ്സേജ് അയക്കരുത്. )
7. IDK: I don't know = എനിക്ക് ഒന്നും അറിയില്ല.
8. IMHO: in my humble opinion = എൻറെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ.
9. ROFL: rolling on the floor laughing = ചിരിച്ചു ചിരിച്ചു മണ്ണ് തപ്പുക.
10. w/o: without = ഇല്ലാതെ, കൂടാതെ; Example: I will be going to the mall w/o my friend. (ഞാൻ എൻറെ കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ കൂടെ അല്ലാതെ മാളിൽ പോകും. )
11. XO: hugs and kisses = ആലിംഗനങ്ങളും ഉമ്മകളും; Example: I will see you later, XO! (ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ പിന്നെ കണ്ടോളം, ആലിംഗനങ്ങളും ഉമ്മകളും!. )
